A reward may change status or get cancelled for several reasons. For example, if the order has been cancelled or returned. The stores have what is called a 'hold back period'. Which is the period of time between when the order was first completed and when the store releases the funds. Typically, this period will be based on the store's return policy.
Common reasons that a Pending Reward may be changed or cancelled include, but are not limited to:
- Charge backs
- Product returns
- Duplicate entries
- Other processing errors
In addition, we may be required to cancel certain rewards due to store policies which prohibit payments to users who reside in certain states, due to tax nexus considerations. Please refer to the Terms of Service for more details.
